I’ve been waiting for this episode to air forever, ahh. Okay, I first saw this episode a few months back, just after it had been completed. I had just moved to Vancouver to start working after I’d finished school, was just starting a brand new chapter in my life, and my mother had just left after settling me into my new place, and then when I saw this scene I had to struggle to not weep like a fool in the middle of all of the show’s artists because it made me think of my momma.
And then I saw it today and thought of my mom again, and then did this drawing, because if you listen to the lyrics of the song it’s just so mom. So Mom, if you’re reading this right now, this one’s for you.
I am sap.
I wanted to draw a pony tonight, and I happened to be watching Scooby Doo at the same time, so… you know.
Now we know who the real wizard is!
I figured it was time for a pony. I’ve wanted to draw the Great and Powerful Trixie for a while. So here she is.
“Pinkie Pie, sweetie, a cupcake is not a hat!”
“M-maybe you should go upstairs for a while, we can handle it from here…”
“Okey dokey lokey!”
I’ve wanted to draw Mr. and Mrs. Cake fooooreeever, and it turned out today was the day I was finally going to do it. They’re the cutest side ponies, they need more attention.
